Overview

You will lead and shape the global B2B and corporate narrative for OpenTable, positioning the company as a strategic technology and data partner in hospitality. You'll work across marketing, partnerships, and product to drive trust, influence industry stakeholders, and expand global presence. Expect to steer external storytelling on product milestones, AI advances, and partnerships, while safeguarding the corporate reputation through pro-active media and crisis management. This role offers high visibility, cross-functional impact, and the chance to influence OpenTable's market leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute B2B communication strategies aligned with marketing and GTM teams to strengthen restaurant customers, prospects, partners, and industry influencers
  • Lead external storytelling around product innovation, AI developments, and industry milestones to support restaurant success and global presence
  • Own communications for global partnerships, integrations, and emerging business units, coordinating co-announcements with major tech platforms
  • Direct proactive and reactive media relations, manage inquiries, crisis navigation, resilience, and data-policy defenses to protect reputation
  • Manage the executive bench with brand communications through talking points, speeches, and leadership preparation for high-profile appearances
  • Establish governance for communications processes, escalation paths, messaging guardrails, and KPI reporting tied to business outcomes
Key requirements
  • 10+ years in B2B public relations or corporate communications in technology or hospitality
  • Experience managing PR and communications strategy globally
  • Proven track record handling high-stakes issues, policy responses, and competitive positioning
  • Experience advising executive leadership on complex communications and reputational matters
  • Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from NYC or Norwalk, CT
