Overview As Digital Design Manager, you lead the design and validation of high performance digital avionics hardware for space programs. Responsibilities- Direct the design and verification of digital circuitry, FPGA systems, and related firmware
- Lead failure investigations and root-cause analysis across components, boards, and systems
- Conduct technical reviews, design audits, and configuration-control activities
- Provide status updates and escalate issues to program and functional leadership
- Manage a team of digital-circuit engineers and support staff; oversee recruitment, onboarding, and career development
- Balance cost, schedule, and technical risk to meet milestones and budget constraints
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Electronics hardware design and test experience in avionics at circuit card and unit level
- Project leadership in electronics hardware design, development, test, and production
- Active TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship
- Experience delivering robust digital subsystems on time and within performance specs
