Overview As a Senior Substation Engineer, you lead or support utility substation projects from medium to high voltage. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable power delivery solutions and strengthen client relationships. You'll shape project scope, schedules, and technical deliverables while advancing sustainable energy infrastructure. This role offers exposure to diverse HV substations and the chance to impact regional and national power projects. You will work in a hybrid or remote setup to support client needs and project execution.

Responsibilities- Lead or support utility and power substation projects
- Develop substation layouts, including plan/elevations, grounding, raceway, and building layouts
- Create one-line and three-line diagrams, power systems, SCADA/communications, relay, and cable schedules
- Prepare calculations, reports, equipment specifications, and construction deliverables
- Manage technical, financial, and scheduling aspects of projects; potentially act as project/client/capture/proposal manager
- Build and maintain client relationships and cross office collaboration
- Provide QA/QC reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Contribute to proposals, bids, reports, and presentations
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer License
- 8+ years in design, engineering and project management in power/utility
- HV substation and distribution project design experience
- Proficient with project management software (Microsoft Project or similar)
- Ability to deliver quality technical solutions for major power delivery projects
