Overview

As Quality Manager, you will lead the plant's Quality Management System across two facilities to ensure products meet customer standards. You'll drive daily quality activities, support customer service, and steer continuous improvement and CAPA initiatives. You will oversee SQF programs, audits, and data-driven improvements to safeguard product integrity. This role partners with operations to embed quality into processes and culture. You'll play a pivotal role in sustaining safety, compliance, and excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the QMS across two facilities and maintain SQF system integrity
  • Drive daily quality activities and support customer service on quality concerns
  • Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits and corrective actions
  • Develop, implement, and administer quality policies and employee training
  • Coordinate continuous improvement projects and data-driven reporting
  • Collaborate with corporate quality and floor staff to resolve quality issues and sustain improvements
  • Facilitate risk-based decision making through data analysis and process controls
  • Promote food safety culture and GMP compliance throughout the plant
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of quality control management in manufacturing
  • SQF practitioner certification and/or internal auditor certification desired
  • Minimum 3 years in an SQF or ISO certified facility
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement projects and CI tools
  • Strong communication and Excel/MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of test procedures, statistics, and process controls
  • Experience with bag and extrusion machinery preferred
