Overview In this role you support senior team members and relationships with private equity clients to drive the execution of sponsor-driven transactions. You'll collaborate with coverage, product bankers, and internal support to assess strategic and financial merits, perform due diligence, and help close deals. You will contribute to business development, client meetings, and portfolio reviews while mentoring Analysts. This position combines relationship-building with hands-on deal execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities- Prospect, pitch, and execute transactions for private equity clients in collaboration with senior team members and product bankers
- Support client meetings, conduct business plan analyses, and participate in due diligence sessions
- Assess strategic and financial merits of proposed transactions for marketing and business development
- Assist in deal execution including advisory work, structuring, and drafting/negotiation of legal documents
- Prepare sponsor-focused presentations to support business development
- Manage sponsor relationships and identify new opportunities across JPMorganChase
- Coordinate with product partners to maximize collaboration in sponsor coverage
- Perform portfolio reviews of sponsor clients and summarize findings in presentations
- Oversee internal processes for sponsorship coverage and KPI tracking
- Collaborate with support departments to ensure smooth deal closing and funding execution
- Mentor and develop Analysts on the team
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, investment banking, commercial banking, or private equity
- FINRA Series 79, Series 63, and SIE required (or must be obtained within 90 days)
