Responsibilities- Provide senior technical leadership for Information Systems Engineers across multiple sites
- Design, deploy, monitor, and manage enterprise infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Voice) with focus on reliability, scalability, security
- Establish operational plans and tactical strategies to support network modernization and expansion
- Evaluate emerging technologies and align with long-term IT strategy
- Lead complex incident response with root-cause analysis and resolution
- Serve as primary technical lead on major enterprise network projects from planning to implementation
- Collaborate to shape IT policies, standards, and governance
- Present technical findings and performance updates to senior leadership
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to security requirements and best practices
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of related experience (Mercury IC5 Senior Principal level)
- Expert knowledge of data networking, architectures, and operations
- Proven experience leading major network design, deployment, and modernization
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, controls, and compliance
- Experience with domestic and international telecom vendors
- Ability to mentor engineers in a multi-site environment
- Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and propose scalable, secure solutions
- Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced hardware/software issues
- Experience with voice/video communication across 20 sites
- Experience with virtualization (on-prem and cloud), identity management (Entra/Azure, AWS, MS AD, ADFS, Radius DNS PKI), storage (NAS/SAN in multiple environments), enterprise voice (Teams/Crestron), and backend server farm management
