Overview As an Electrical Engineer, you will design and oversee electrical systems for commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes. You will work closely with architects and other engineers to integrate electrical design into overall plans and deliver thorough documentation. Your work supports safe, efficient power distribution and lighting, with emphasis on feasibility and cost analyses. You will leverage drafting tools to produce precise schematics and provide technical support throughout project execution. This role offers the chance to shape building infrastructure on multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Design electrical systems for commercial and residential buildings
- Develop and review electrical schematics and layouts
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for detailed design and drafting
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate designs into project plans
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, and other codes and standards
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for electrical systems
- Create and maintain project documentation and reports
- Provide technical support during project implementation and troubleshooting
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in commercial building design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong knowledge of NFPA and NEC codes
- Experience in MEP design, power distribution, and lighting design is a plus
