Overview In this role you drive strategic media campaigns for health-focused clients, shaping media strategies across the agency and serving as senior counsel on crisis and issues management. You will mentor teams, manage high-stakes client engagements, and build strong relationships with top reporters and stakeholders. You'll lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated media programs that advance health and wellbeing. Responsibilities- Oversee media strategy and execution across client programs and accounts
- Lead crisis and issues management planning for media activities
- Provide strategic counsel to clients and account teams
- Manage and grow relationships with reporters, media outlets, and external stakeholders
- Oversee media training of senior spokespeople and talent
- Facilitate client workshops, speaker trainings, and multi-stakeholder events
- Develop staffing plans and mentor junior staff, supporting professional growth
- Drive new business proposals and represent media in pitches
- Guide cross-functional teams to deliver integrated media programs
- Maintain high-quality deliverables and best practices across media activities
Key requirements- 10+ years in a communications agency or health/related field
- 2+ years of direct reports management
- Proven track record in leading large-scale media programs and complex client engagements
- Experience in business development and growing existing accounts
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communications skills
