IT Field Engineer I (Memphis, TN)

In this role you deliver hands-on IT support at client sites, resolving hardware, software, and network issues to ensure successful outcomes. You work closely with cross-functional VC3 teams to follow our standard processes and deliver predictable results. You will troubleshoot on-site, educate clients on best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement. • Drive to client sites as scheduled and notify Service Coordinator of delays
• Install and configure new computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues with workstations and printers
• Collaborate with VC3 technical staff on connectivity issues (ISPs, wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RDS, Citrix)
• Educate clients on technical standards and best practices
• Identify recurring issues and open problem tickets
• Suggest improvements to hardware and software supported by VC3
• Maintain accurate timesheets and detailed notes of troubleshooting and communication
• Participate in on-call rotation (1 week every 3-4 months
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• 2 years of relevant technical experience OR 1 year in VC3 Service Technician I or II roles
• 2 years experience managing Windows Client Operating Systems (10, 11)
• Experience with Microsoft/Office 365
• Knowledge of Virus and Security
• TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS proficiency
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
