Overview In this role you shape the UX strategy and own the universal design system for Amazon Ads' web experiences. You will bridge design and front-end engineering to scale components across 20+ marketplaces and 23 languages, accelerating from design to live pages. You act as a product-minded technologist, driving measurable, user-focused improvements while removing handoff bottlenecks. You'll be at the table where experience decisions are made, delivering production-grade code and rapid iteration.

Responsibilities- Own UX web flow strategy for and Amazon Ads Academy, shaping navigation, content types, and conversion-oriented page structures.
- Architect and govern the universal design system for AEM, defining interaction patterns, responsive behavior, and accessibility standards to maintain consistency.
- Apply a product-design lens to components, defining problems, success metrics, variants, and data-driven iterations.
- Compress design-to-production timelines by building production-grade front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and reducing handoff through tooling and reference implementations.
- Design for dual audiences (humans and machines) by structuring pages for advertiser engagement and AI/LLM discoverability, using semantic hierarchy and GEO principles.
- Lead cross-team design quality by reviewing partner work, aligning on experience trade-offs, and guiding engineering architecture to preserve fidelity at scale.
- Mentor teammates by defining prototyping workflows, standards, and best practices, boosting team speed and capability.
Key requirements- 4+ years of front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience
