Sales Specialist

• Deliver knowledgeable, compassionate customer service to buyers
• Educate customers on promotions, services, and loyalty programs
• Support sales goals through effective selling and service behaviors
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual standards
• Monitor inventory and assist with replenishment
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Mentor and train new associates on policies and service expectations
• Act as floor leader when needed and support workflow
• Assist management with escalated customer concerns and operational needs

• 1+ years of retail experience (preferably in a specialty environment)
• Passion for animals and pet care knowledge preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
• Problem-solving skills and professionalism in handling customer concerns
• Basic math skills and experience with cash and transactions
• Active engagement on the sales floor and ability to work near animals
