Cognos Administration

In this role you will provide middleware support and administer Cognos in a Linux environment, enabling reliable BI reporting and analytics. You will work within a consulting context, engaging with cross-functional teams and travel regularly to client sites. You will troubleshoot Linux/Unix services, optimize Cognos architectures, and support BI reporting initiatives. This position offers exposure to enterprise IT infrastructure within a growth-focused firm and the opportunity to shape scalable solutions in a travel-intensive environment.

• Provide middleware support in a high-demand environment
• Administer Cognos architecture on Linux systems
• Support BI reporting processes using Cognos and MicroStrategy
• Troubleshoot services and performance issues on Linux/UNIX
• Collaborate with clients in a management consulting setting and accommodate frequent travel
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders

• At least 6 years of middleware support experience
• At least 5 years of Cognos architecture experience and Linux administration
• Strong knowledge of Unix
• Understanding of BI reporting (Cognos/MicroStrategy)
• Ability to troubleshoot Linux/UNIX services
• Analytical and communication skills
