Overview As Production Engineering Supervisor, you lead a team of production engineers to support new launches, materials, and processes for automotive lighting products. You will drive improvements in material selection, processing efficiency, and cost reduction while maintaining standards and supporting manufacturing. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and operations within a market-leading lighting manufacturer. Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate a team of process engineers to meet project objectives and timing
- Develop and coordinate new material and process technologies and provide recommendations to management
- Assist engineers in issue resolution and driving value through material and process improvements
- Maintain and improve material and process standards across the organization
- Develop new materials and processes and provide manufacturing support
- Coordinate new launch activities to ensure on-time results within SOP
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Material Science, or related technical discipline, plus 6+ years in a process-related role (material selection, testing, implementation, etc.) with 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with automotive/process-related industry experience (preferred)
