Overview You lead and develop a team of actuaries focused on sourcing, designing, pricing, and executing complex Financial Solutions transactions for the US market, while coordinating with global SCOR resources. You drive profitability and risk management through innovative structuring and client engagement, positioning SCOR as a major player in the market. You collaborate across markets, mentor talent, and contribute to strategic planning and branding. Responsibilities- Build and manage a team of experts in structuring and executing Financial Solutions transactions
- Collaborate with the US traditional market team to source, market, design and execute transactions
- Ensure compliance with SCOR standards and processes for all transactions
- Design new solutions in response to regulatory changes or client needs
- Contribute to global Financial Solutions objectives in risk management, planning, reporting and financial targets
- Promote SCOR's image as an innovator in Financial solutions by engaging with clients and industry conferences
- Monitor transaction performance and trigger actions to maintain profitability
- Maintain and expand a network of contacts in insurance, reinsurance, investment banks and financial advisors to source deals
Key requirements- 20 or more years' experience in Life Insurance and Reinsurance actuarial roles
- At least 5 years in financial solutions reinsurance transactions
- Proven track record of closing complex transactions
- Strong network in the insurance and reinsurance marketplace
- Management and development experience of actuarial professionals
- Executive presence and ability to present at various organizational levels
