Overview In this role you lead the design, development, and sustainment of enterprise Digital Twin capabilities for globally distributed DoD ISR mission systems. You guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver architecture, modeling, simulation, and cyber-resilient twin environments that support mission planning and decision-making. You will align the Digital Twin roadmap with mission objectives, engineering standards, and cybersecurity requirements while engaging government stakeholders. This position blends hands-on engineering with leadership and customer interaction to advance critical DoD operations.
Responsibilities- Lead design, development, integration, and sustainment of enterprise Digital Twin capabilities for DoD mission systems
- Head a multidisciplinary team focused on Digital Twin architecture, modeling, simulation, visualization, and systems integration
- Develop and maintain the Digital Twin roadmap, implementation strategy, and engineering standards
- Design Digital Twin environments representing infrastructure, networks, apps, cloud services, cybersecurity, and workflows
- Integrate telemetry, monitoring, cybersecurity, and infrastructure data into Digital Twin environments
- Ensure models stay synchronized with production architectures and configuration management
- Support cyber testing, security validation, and resiliency assessments using Digital Twin
- Coordinate software development, systems engineering, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity activities
- Create technical documents, diagrams, and operating procedures
- Present briefings and recommendations to Government customers and leadership
- Support proposals, BOEs, ROMs, demos, and strategic technology planning
- Mentor engineers and promote innovation and best practices
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI
- Minimum 8 years in enterprise systems engineering, Digital Engineering, software engineering, enterprise architecture, or cloud infrastructure
- Minimum 3 years as a technical lead or leading multidisciplinary teams
- Experience designing or supporting Digital Twin, M&S, enterprise architecture, or complex systems engineering solutions
- Experience with enterprise cloud environments, virtualization, networking, storage, and modern software architectures
- Strong understanding of systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and configuration management
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer engagement skills
