Major Accounts Sales - CPA District Manager

Overview

As a CPA District Manager, you will cultivate and expand ADP's CPA partner network to drive new business and protect existing relationships. You'll develop annual sales plans to meet quota, participate in events for lead generation, and stay current on CPA industry trends. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to support new clients through the conversion cycle and ensure smooth engagement from prospecting to implementation. This role offers the chance to influence market share with CPA partners and contribute to a growth-focused, customer-centric culture.

Responsibilities
  • Nurture and grow relationships with current CPA firms
  • Cultivate partnerships with prospective CPA partners and previous partners
  • Promote ADP market share goals within the CPA community
  • Develop annual business plan with sales leadership focusing on quota attainment
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events for lead generation
  • Maintain knowledge of CPA industry trends and competitive positioning
  • Enhance product and professional skills through training and self-learning
  • Maintain accurate activity records (calls, presentations, sales)
  • Serve as liaison between new clients and ADP support during conversion
  • Attend and contribute to weekly Roll Call meetings
Key requirements
  • Proven ability to hunt cold opportunities and manage large relationships
  • Proven success in a partner selling environment
  • Strong research, qualification, and objection-handling skills
  • Persistent and professional phone skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • SaaS experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (BS in Business Administration) or equivalent, with 1-2+ years in sales including district management and quota attainment
  • Ability to prospect and sell to companies with 50-150 employees
