Overview In this role you will embed with USSPACECOM to lead and produce decision-ready logistics planning products for senior leaders. You will integrate sustainment concepts into operational plans and coordinate across commands to ensure feasible logistics across all phases. You'll support real-world operations and wargames, assessing space-domain logistics and managing secure information. This position offers impact by shaping joint logistics in a high-stakes, time-sensitive environment.
Responsibilities- Lead logistics planning efforts within the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and develop logistics annexes, COS, and support plans
- Integrate J4 capabilities and sustainment requirements into operational and campaign plans (CONPLANs)
- Coordinate logistics planning with DLA, Service Components, interagency partners, and other Combatant Commands
- Develop decision-ready logistics products (briefings, staff packages, risk analyses) for senior/flag-level leadership
- Support exercises, wargames, and real-world operations by embedding logistics scenarios and timelines
- Assess space-domain logistics supportability, including ground-based systems, satellite comms, and spares pipelines
- Maintain OPSEC and handle TS/SCI classifications while ensuring compliance with laws and policies
- Identify gaps/risks in sustainment across the enterprise and propose mitigations
- Utilize SIPRNet/JWICS and other classified tools to manage and disseminate materials
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of logistics planning in a joint or Combatant Command environment
- Experience with JPP, JLEnt, or joint sustainment planning in contingency/deliverable planning
- Experience developing annexes and sustainment plans integrated into campaigns at the Combatant Command level
- Strong written and oral communication with ability to produce high-quality briefs under pressure
- Proficiency with classified systems (SIPRNet, JWICS)
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
