Overview In this role you will drive the design and delivery of enterprise-grade applications within UBS's Client Onboarding engineering team. You will provide architectural guidance during cloud and datacenter migrations and work with cross-functional groups to evolve products toward the target state. You will build and maintain microservices, leverage Azure, and implement DevOps practices to enable scalable, cloud-native solutions. You'll operate in an Agile environment, collaborating broadly to deliver impactful, real-time data processing and integration capabilities.

Responsibilities- Design and develop enterprise-grade applications
- Contribute to cloud and datacenter migration projects with architectural guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with target state architecture
- Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures
- Build scalable systems using REST, Swagger, XML, SQL and NoSQL databases
- Utilize Azure cloud services and cloud-native patterns (PaaS, containers, serverless)
- Apply DevOps practices including Kubernetes, CI/CD, and containerization
- Work in an Agile environment and participate in continuous improvement
- Explore integration of iPaaS and DevOps tools for automation
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field + 10 years of experience
- Experience with Core Java; RESTful microservices; Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC); JSP; JDBC
- Proficiency with DevOps tools; Kubernetes; Docker; Jenkins; Terraform
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; messaging middleware (Kafka, MQ)
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and cloud-native design
