Overview

In this role you will support the development and production of next gen high speed optical interconnects for AI and hyperscale data centers. You will work on transceiver technologies such as Co-Packaged Optics and Optical Circuit Switches, contributing from development to production. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and program teams to solve performance and reliability challenges. This is a fast paced, global environment where your work drives scalable, manufacturable optical platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and optimize optical interconnect, transceiver, and photonic manufacturing to improve product yield
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot photoelectric conversion, fiber-optic systems, silicon photonics, and signal integrity issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful product development and deployment
  • Identify and resolve optical performance, thermal, packaging, and signal integrity challenges
  • Support scaling of next-generation optical platforms from development to production
  • Travel occasionally to manufacturing sites to support technology transfer and production activities
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a Master's in optical communications, photonics, or electronics/high-tech manufacturing
  • Practical knowledge of optical transceivers, fiber-optic communication, and high-speed optical modules
  • Silicon photonics, optical packaging, DSP, and signal integrity concepts
  • Experience with 100G/400G/800G systems is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; familiarity with statistical tools is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good English communication and collaboration with global teams
  • Willingness to work on the production floor and provide occasional after-hours support
