Overview As Director of Product Management, you evangelize the product vision and define what to build, aligning with cross-functional teams to meet user needs. You own the product line, balancing delivery, budget, and market success, while guiding a multi-disciplinary team. You shape strategy across product lines and collaborate with marketing, system architecture, and program management to deliver impactful diabetes solutions. Responsibilities- Steward the product line and ensure vision, usability, and reliability across releases
- Shape MVPs within an established roadmap and balance scope, risk, and delivery timing
- Coach Associate Product Managers through ambiguity and complexity
- Define clear product definitions, requirements, and acceptance criteria within PM domains
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure compelling product vision and commercial impact
- Partner with PMO, Marketing, and Development as a leadership team for the product line
- Guide PMs to ensure a cohesive vision and feature alignment across the product
- Evangelize the product to the team to maintain alignment with the vision
- Own a platform or solution, including the release roadmap, guiding other PMs
- Align product metrics with organizational KPIs; develop analytics to shape vision
- Define strategic solutions and oversee delivery; interact with Systems Architect to align roadmaps
- Work with strategic technical partners and provide program leadership
- Manage portfolio scope and adjustments; improve PM processes for discovery and delivery
- Define and manage product management metrics; ensure on-time, in-budget delivery with PMO
- Operate in an Agile environment; own the solution backlog; prepare work for development
- Participate in UX research; mentor other Product Managers
Key requirements- Bachelor in Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA preferred
- 12+ years of experience in the field with 10+ years in software development
- 7+ years of experience as a product manager
- Proven experience overseeing medical device product development lifecycle with multiple releases
- Class II+ medical device experience; able to defend design history file elements in audits
