Overview In this role you will analyze and underwrite large corporate loans and structured products, coordinating closings and monitoring credit risk. You'll work with Directors and MDs to present information to senior management and loan committees, shaping credit decisions for a growing Lender Finance portfolio. You will assess portfolio performance, prepare scorecards, and propose marks on collateral, while coordinating loan processing and issue resolution. Responsibilities- Analyze and underwrite large corporate loans and structured products ($25mm+).
- Coordinate closing of approved loans and ensure alignment with bank policies and client needs.
- Monitor credit risks with Directors/MDs and prepare senior management materials for approval.
- Assess portfolio performance and provide buy/hold/sell recommendations.
- Prepare portfolio scorecards and determine collateral marks.
- Handle underwriting, portfolio management, and related tasks for new loan requests and ongoing portfolios.
Key requirements- Six+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Fixed Income investing.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring.
- Credit analyst training completed.
- Advanced speaking, Excel and writing communication skills.
- Progress toward or completion of CFA
