Overview In this role you will oversee electrical projects with a focus on profitability, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery. You will manage multiple contracts, coordinate with field teams, and drive improvements in prefabrication and procurement. You'll build relationships to win profitable work and ensure quality across schedules, budgets, and compliance. This position offers impact across commercial, mission-critical, and industrial electrical projects in a growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities- Maintain average gross margin on projects at or above 10%
- Manage up to 4 electrical contracts concurrently and estimate future work
- Acquire new work with profitable hit ratio and ensure 100% customer satisfaction
- Drive prefabrication with the field and support training of Foremen
- Assist in obtaining Senior Supervision and quality coordination from past relationships
- Prepare and manage submittals, shop drawings, project budgets, schedules of values, and O&M manuals
- Prepare and review subcontracts, permits, RFIs, As-Built drawings, warranty documents, and punch lists
- Track and close out spare parts turnover
- Signature of non-compete if required for position
- Provide assistance for quality supervision from past work relationships
- Ensure compliance with Policies and Procedures and NEC requirements
Key requirements- 5+ years of experience in commercial, mission-critical, or industrial electrical work
- Strong troubleshooting skills with sophisticated test equipment (DMM, Megger, PQM, UCT, IR Camera)
- Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Experience preparing subcontracts, permits, project schedules, purchase orders, and budgets
- Experience reviewing contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
- Experience creating O&M manuals, warranty documents, and As-Built drawings
- Experience tracking punch lists and ensuring spare parts turnover
- LEED AP accreditation within 6 months (preferred or required)
- Willingness to continue education in related fields
- Ability to train and grow Foremen with labor-savings ideas
- Ability to acquire new, profitable work and manage multiple contracts
