Overview As Medical Advisor for Compression, you support the Western Region sales team by sharing medical knowledge, training, and guidance on compression solutions. You will help clinicians and professionals understand product applications and drive market development. The role combines clinical insight with sales enablement, shaping education programs and territory plans. Remote, covering Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Omaha, and parts of Iowa, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to grow Essity's compression portfolio. This is an opportunity to influence clinical practice, train professionals, and accelerate product adoption in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide training on measuring and fitting JOBST compression garments
- Support clinicians/therapists/lymphedema therapists in garment fitting and troubleshooting
- Host events and speak publicly to professional audiences
- Develop and implement territory strategies and analyze sales/marketing data
- Increase sales volume by executing sales plans and marketing programs
- Collaborate on internal/external training for disease treatment therapies
- Conduct in-services, seminars, and product trainings for key customers
- Attend territory/regional trade shows and symposiums
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends within assigned territory
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to grow the Essity business
- Provide accurate forecasting and sales funnel updates to Regional Sales Manager
- Maintain account records and track calls in CRM
- Submit reports and administrative tasks accurately and on time
Key requirements- Four-year college or university degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience with compression garments and fitting preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience or medical sales preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM systems or customer databases
- Strong problem-solving abilities and people skills
- Strong work ethic and time/territory management skills
- Must live in the assigned territory
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%
