Overview

In this role you support the Capital Program Management team to deliver capital projects on time and on budget. You will own the creation and maintenance of project schedules and cost-loaded schedules, partnering with project controls leads and field teams. You'll develop and refine schedule templates, monitor progress, and prepare cash flow and forecasting reports to drive informed decisions. This position offers a hands-on chance to shape how complex water infrastructure programs are planned and tracked, with a clear impact on project outcomes and organizational performance.

Responsibilities
  • Set up projects in Trimble Unity Construct (e-Builder) and maintain schedule and cost data
  • Develop and sustain scheduling and cost reports, cash flows, forecasts, and dashboards
  • Create and link Work Breakdown Structures to Cost Breakdown Structures
  • Support engineering, procurement, construction planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost control activities
  • Input and document changes to cost reports/forecasts and review contingency costs with project team
  • Prepare and present cash flow reports and progressive schedule updates
  • Monitor resource loading, logic ties, and critical path within schedules
  • Contribute to project status meetings and support audits with accurate documentation
  • Produce quality checks and validate reports in the required formats
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards and assist with other project control duties as needed
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; 5 years of direct project control experience
  • Experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating, and document control
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Trimble Unity Construct (e-Builder) preferred
  • Ability to facilitate and produce detailed construction schedules linked with engineering and procurement activities
