Overview In this role you will lead cultural resources projects in North Central Texas, supervising archaeological surveys and coordinating with clients and agencies. You will manage projects from scope to report, ensuring compliance with preservation standards while growing Halff's CRM practice. Your work will blend field archaeology, technical writing, and business development to deliver impactful cultural resources solutions. Responsibilities- Supervise archaeological surveys, including backhoe trenching
- Evaluate eligibility for NRHP and SHL
- Manage projects from start to finish; write scopes of work
- Executive client/agency coordination and field oversight
- Conduct background research and obtain Antiquities permits
- Interpret data and author reports
- Foster client relationships and business opportunities
Key requirements- Master's Degree in Anthropology/Archaeology or related field
- Minimum 5 years CRM experience as PI in Texas
- Solid understanding of historic preservation laws and policies
- Experience managing archaeological surveys and backhoe trenching
- Knowledge of geoarchaeological soil description
- ArcGIS and GPS proficiency
- MS Office proficiency
- Ability to travel within Texas and nearby states
- Physical ability for fieldwork and working with field crews
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
