Responsibilities- Oversee inventory accounting from recording to valuation adjustments and period-end reporting
- Direct reconciliation activities for inventory, fixed assets, and lease balances; investigate discrepancies
- Manage asset-related accounting (additions, depreciation, disposals, impairments, transfers, capital spending)
- Review journal entries for shrinkage, obsolescence, write-offs, and non-routine balance sheet activity
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A to improve cutoff accuracy and asset movement tracking
- Oversee lease accounting including amortization schedules, liability activity, and modifications
- Coordinate monthly close deliverables for assigned areas with proper documentation and reviews
- Establish and monitor internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness
- Supervise offshore accounting resources, provide coaching, and ensure output quality
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through automation and continuous improvement
