Overview

In this role, you'll drive growth by deepening specification and adoption of ABB Installation Products within Machine Builder OEM and Electrical OEM/Panel Builder markets. You will build trusted relationships with engineers, panel builders, and system integrators to uncover opportunities and promote ABB solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll translate market insights into actionable strategies and support go-to-market execution. This remote-friendly position offers impact in shaping specification-driven growth and standardization across customer designs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop deep understanding of customer needs and position ABB Installation Products to grow market share through specification and standardization
  • Build and maintain relationships with machine builders, UL 508A panel builders, engineering teams, and system integrators
  • Drive design-in and standardization activities across machine platforms and control panel designs
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence and customer feedback to support growth initiatives and product marketing
  • Provide technical support, demonstrations, and training to customers and ABB sales teams
  • Collaborate with Market Development, Sales, Product Management, and distribution partners to execute commercial strategies and advance opportunities
  • Achieve sales growth and objectives within Machine OEM and Electrical OEM segments through go-to-market execution
Key requirements
  • BS/BA in business, marketing, engineering, or related fields
  • 5+ years in technical specification/product marketing in the electrical industry, preferably in Transportation & Industrial OEM markets
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with strong business acumen
  • Proven ability to meet challenging goals and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly collaborative and influential with strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization through influence
  • Track record of new customer/business development and strong customer relations via specification and visits
  • Ability to understand the product portfolio and apply it to the market to provide value-added solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel 50%
