Overview

In this role, you will partner with Capacity Planning and finance teams to shape a long-range demand plan and ensure alignment across TI. You will challenge assumptions, close process gaps, and translate demand signals into actionable financial insights. You will model scenarios for infrastructure scaling, assess capital investments, and drive decision-making to optimize CapEx ROI. You will work cross-functionally to improve planning efficiency and support strategic initiatives that sustain Google's data center and cloud capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of long-range demand plans with Capacity Planning teams to ensure synchronized planning across TI
  • Identify and resolve gaps in demand forecasts by challenging assumptions and refining processes
  • Collaborate with Finance and supply planning to understand constraints, responses, and bottlenecks
  • Identify capacity constraints and develop contingency plans and strategic investments to maintain service delivery
  • Build financial framework, modeling, and scenario planning to evaluate infrastructure scaling outcomes
  • Develop metrics to measure planning efficiency and asset utilization and drive improvements in CapEx ROI
  • Lead projects to transform planning, tracking, and control processes and provide senior management with insights and recommendations
  • Support management reporting and scalable, automated financial processes across TI
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field
  • 7 years of relevant experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years with advanced degree
  • 3 years of experience in project management, analysis, or capacity planning
