Overview

You will design and lead Chewy's executive development and succession strategies, aligning leadership growth with business priorities. You'll partner with HR, recruiting, and business leaders to build a cohesive executive experience and robust pipelines. This role focuses on scalable programs, governance, and measurable impact on leadership readiness. You will shape an executive-first culture that supports growth and innovation at Chewy. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role with a clear influence on the company's future.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end executive experience design and delivery
  • Map the executive lifecycle and identify efficiency and impact opportunities
  • Collaborate with Executive Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, HRBPs, and business leaders
  • Establish governance and operating rhythms across stakeholders
  • Design bespoke executive programs aligned with leadership expectations
  • Create tools and playbooks for consistent, personalized executive experiences
  • Measure program effectiveness using defined metrics and feedback
  • Promote an executive-first mindset across partner teams
  • Partner with Internal Communications for cross-functional collaboration
  • Oversee onboarding and integration for new and promoted executives
  • Develop and govern executive coaching programs and readiness frameworks
  • Build leadership experiences to strengthen enterprise capability and succession planning
Key requirements
  • 10+ years in Executive Talent or related HR function with 5+ in leadership roles
  • Experience leading large-scale transformational projects
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience designing and leading executive-level talent programs in a complex, fast-paced setting
  • Strong expertise in executive assessment, succession planning, leadership development, and coaching
  • Exceptional consulting, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management
