Overview

In this Senior Researcher role, you will lead teams of researchers, designers, and engineers to advance human-AI interaction and user-centered solutions in complex environments. You will shape a research program in Human-Systems Integration and Human-Autonomy Teaming, while building strong relationships with customers and sponsors. You will propose and direct technical work, contribute to proposals, and communicate findings through reports and conferences. This role emphasizes impact in mission-focused national security domains and cross-domain collaboration within the GRVTY ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow teams of researchers, designers, and software engineers
  • Develop work-support solutions grounded in perception, cognition, and decision making
  • Develop and execute a research agenda in Human-Systems Integration and Human-Autonomy Teaming
  • Study and model diverse customer needs in complex systems
  • Coordinate and oversee work in a user-centered design process to implement and evaluate concepts
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and collaborators
  • Lead and contribute to proposals, technical reports, and research publications
  • Present work at briefings and conferences
Key requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in relevant field (as stated)
  • 5+ years hands-on experience analyzing work environments and conceiving, demonstrating, and evaluating user interfaces
  • Strong written and verbal skills; experience in proposal writing, customer interaction, and conference presentations; business development with DoD preferred
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Onsite availability at least 3 days per week (60% onsite / 40% remote) in Cambridge, MA
