Overview You will guide North American plants in applying quality tools and processes to prevent defects, analyze data, and improve customer satisfaction. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to implement robust countermeasures and maintain quality management systems. The role blends hands-on coaching, audits, and data-driven improvement to strengthen manufacturing quality. Responsibilities- Support and guide plants in applying quality tools and processes
- Conduct root cause and data analysis; implement resolutions with cross-functional teams
- Improve Voice of the Customer feedback within manufacturing and supply chain
- Use metrics to drive quality performance and team discussions
- Establish root cause, containment, and countermeasures with quality teams
- Maintain and audit multi-site quality management systems
- Train and enforce quality policies to leaders and managers
- Develop and maintain quality methods and processes; perform time studies
- Train engineers on benchmarking improvements via data collection/tools
- Share and implement best practices; problem-solve with end users and dealers
- Utilize ProPlanner and control charts; track performance indicators
- Compile monthly reports for the Fargo team; monitor and drive improvement in other teams' data
- Provide data for current products to inform improvements on new products
- Perform audits for CNH plants; assist with product launches and process improvements
- Support trialing new software interfaces with manufacturing processes
- Telecommuting up to 2 days/week; travel as needed; multiple plant visits
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- 6 years of experience as a quality engineer or related role with heavy agricultural equipment
- Experience with agriculture equipment repair and tractor operation/build
- Liaising with dealer technicians and regional service managers
- Telematics design/troubleshooting; CANBUS and ISOBUS
- Hydraulics theory and diagnostics; cleanliness specifications
- Automotive AIAG standards; ISO 9001:2015
- Electrical theory and diagnostics in automotive manufacturing
- Digital tools: digital volt meters, calipers, diagnostic tools, Qlik Sense, Miro, Power BI
