CAD Engineer / Specialist

As a CAD Engineer/Specialist, you will support the Whitehall Casting Layout Dept and Engineering teams in process improvements, customer qualification, and tooling design. You'll apply metrology and tooling expertise to enable first article inspections and accurate reporting, collaborating with engineering and quality to secure customer approvals. This role combines design, measurement-driven validation, and cross-functional coordination to drive scalable, safe tooling solutions. You will work in a team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement and customer success.

• Complete customer First Article inspection packages using metrology tools (structured light, GOM, CMM, etc.)
• Prepare and complete customer reports with detailed inspection data
• Collaborate with engineering and quality on customer approval packages and quotes
• Provide technical support to engineers and other departments for tooling development and process improvements
• Work in a team environment and collaborate with others
• Demonstrate self-motivation

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or CAD related field OR Associate's Degree with 4 years related experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available
