Responsibilities- Design and develop advanced power conversion systems and products
- Create detailed electrical circuit schematics and bill of materials
- Perform component stress analyses and MTBF calculations
- Lead debug and design verification testing of prototypes
- Collaborate on mechanical design aspects of products
- Oversee product reliability testing
- Create and maintain essential engineering documentation
- Coordinate with New Product Introduction for smooth transfers and testing
- Provide technical support to sales during bidding and interact with marketing on new product development
- Deliver technical presentations to management and staff
- Mentor and train junior engineers
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- At least five years of development experience in electronic power conversion, including switch-mode power supply designs
- Proficiency in PSpice and Mathcad
- Experience resolving EMC issues and, ideally, in high-frequency magnetic component design and microcontroller circuits for power electronics
