Overview In this role you will support the hardware team to design and integrate electrical systems for automotive and robotics-focused projects. You will work on electrical architectures, write and review schematics and drawings, and ensure safe, reliable operation of vehicle electronics. You will collaborate with suppliers to move developments into production and contribute to the integration of custom components within a vehicle platform. This role offers hands-on design work with a focus on embedded systems and vehicle integration in a growth-focused company.
Responsibilities- PCB layout and schematic design
- Embedded development with ARM Cortex (STM32)
- Work with CAN (J1939, CANOpen), SPI, I2C, and serial communications
- Develop electrical architecture for specialized applications
- Create electrical drawings, schematics, assembly drawings and component layouts
- Understand vehicle architecture and functional schematics to ensure reliable operation
- Integrate vehicle with custom build components
- Test, maintain and improve electrical systems and support production transition with suppliers
Key requirements- Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years hands-on EE experience with direct wire harnessing experience
- Interest in self-driving vehicle and robotics
