Overview

In this role you guide a skilled hourly team to bridge strategic goals with daily execution in Ford's manufacturing environment. You champion safety, drive operational excellence, and own team performance to deliver high-quality production. You'll apply data-driven decision making and lead continuous improvement, shaping culture and performance on the shop floor. This is a chance to influence safety, quality, and efficiency at scale within a global automotive leader.

Responsibilities
  • Champion workplace safety and enforce regulations
  • Lead and direct an hourly team to meet production targets and quality standards
  • Prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and act with bias for action to resolve safety and quality issues
  • Develop and support high-performing teams through servant leadership and development
  • Use data to reduce downtime and defects and to guide improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure rigorous quality standards
  • Resolve conflicts constructively and maintain positive working relationships with team, suppliers, and union representatives
  • Promote accountability and fair practices in processes and performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to drive ongoing improvements
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or related experience
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
  • Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
  • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) is a plus
