Overview

In this role you will support translational research and immunology activities to bridge early research and clinical development. You will deliver datasets and run biomarker assays to characterize novel drug candidates, guided by seniors to grow expertise in drug discovery and pharmacology. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape translational strategies and contribute to capability building. This position offers hands-on scientific impact in a collaborative environment with a clear patient-focused mission. Responsibilities
  • Deliver datasets informing translational direction and pharmacodynamic biomarker discovery
  • Support immunology and translational research goals across drug discovery programs
  • Collaborate on capability building to meet emerging program needs
  • Communicate research plans and data to diverse colleagues
  • Contribute to prioritized activities within the drug discovery group
  • Demonstrate curiosity, strong work ethic, and ability to work both in a team and independently
Key requirements
  • Bachelor or Master in biology, immunology, pharmacology with 5+ years in academia or industry or Ph.D. with 2+ years in industry
  • Experience with ex-vivo assay development in rodent, NHP, and human tissues/plasma/whole blood
  • Experience with in vitro T cell differentiation (e.g., Treg, Th17)
  • Flow cytometry for phenotyping whole blood and primary T cell culture
  • Sterile cell culture techniques for growth/maintenance of cell lines and primary cells
  • Isolating/manipulating primary cells for downstream analysis (MSD/ELISA, FACS, western blots, qPCR, histology, fluorescence microscopy)
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to think critically about results
