Overview

In this Associate role, you will advance strategic initiatives for Chase's Consumer and Community Bank as part of the Corporate Development team. You will evaluate investment opportunities, support acquisitions, and collaborate with senior leaders to deliver actionable insights. Your work will shape strategic decisions and growth across cross-functional partners. This is a high-impact, investment-focused position with exposure to senior executives and external partners, offering a clear path to influence major corporate outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Build financial models and valuation analyses for investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives
  • Create high-quality investment memos and executive presentations
  • Support due diligence with market research, competitive analysis, and risk assessment
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to drive project execution
  • Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Perform data analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities relevant to CCB
Key requirements
  • 2+ years in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, management consulting, or similar analytical role
  • Excellent presentation and design/formatting skills for executive-ready materials
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; ability to craft compelling executive-level pitches
  • Strong financial modeling skills with Excel and valuation techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Effective verbal and written communication; confident in presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY
