Overview As Director, Program Management, you drive a portfolio of cross-functional projects within ADP's Global Finance/Quote-to-Cash scope. You'll align stakeholders, manage budgets, and lead a transformation roadmap that delivers measurable value. You'll partner with Finance, BUs, and other functions to execute complex programs, mitigate risks, and develop your team for future needs. This role combines strategic execution with hands-on governance, shaping how we deliver in a large enterprise.
Responsibilities- Lead and govern a program/portfolio of projects across multiple BUs and functions
- Plan, control, and report on progress, risks, and budgets for complex programs
- Develop WBS, requirements, design, test plans, and risk mitigation artifacts
- Establish and publish comprehensive program reporting via PMO tools
- Structure resourcing, coordinate with cross-functional and external teams
- Obtain scope-change approvals and resolve resource conflicts
- Set goals, monitor performance, and align team with KPIs
- Drive quarterly performance reviews and annual focal point assessments
- Ensure consistent use of PMO methodologies, governance, and stakeholder communications
- Define success criteria and manage program-level KPI reporting
- Manage program budget and requests for incremental funding
- Engage senior leadership with clear communication and governance
- Demonstrate risk management and issue resolution across the program
- Lead change management and communication with stakeholders and teams
Key requirements- 10+ years of project experience; 5+ years in enterprise-level, cross-functional, multi-year projects
- Program management expertise in matrixed organizations with multiple concurrent projects
- Experience executing strategy and transformation in Fortune 500 or similarly complex environments
- Director-level people leadership experience
- Ability to identify and mitigate project risks to meet objectives
- Experience leading teams of 10+ associates across functions in a multi-national company
- 3+ years in one or more Quote-to-Cash functions (Q2C)
- Strong organizational and time management skills for juggling multiple projects
- Proficiency with a project management tool (e.g., Smartsheet) and data-driven decision-making
- PMP certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Experience in Order Management and Billing within QTC (added comfort)
- Agile experience and Six Sigma (added comfort)
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and working with commercial stakeholders
- Experience leveraging analytics to support Finance and QTC processes
- Experience establishing and leading project governance and cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with AI or emerging technologies to improve business processes
