Overview In this role, you drive transaction strategy and execution for large, complex client portfolios and enterprise real estate initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams and broker resources to deliver governance, quality, and measurable client outcomes. You translate client objectives into market optimization plans and value creation through strategic portfolios and negotiations. This position sits in Cushman & Wakefield's Portfolio Advisory Group, partnering with clients to shape their real estate vision. Responsibilities- Lead market optimization planning and strategic transaction initiatives aligned with client goals and real estate priorities
- Develop strategic real estate plans and provide strategic advice to clients
- Identify occupancy cost savings, pull-forward, expansion/contraction opportunities, and other optimization strategies
- Produce business cases, reporting, data analysis, and financial analysis to support strategic plans
- Initiate new transactions (dispositions, renewals) and guide delivery through execution
- Manage internal and external brokerage resources, giving strategic direction to brokers and stakeholders
- Lead aggressive negotiations to secure favorable client outcomes and ensure consistent practices
- Execute complex, large transactions and oversee legal review of leased documents
- Engage project managers, facility managers, and environmental consultants as needed for execution
- Partner with client real estate teams and senior leaders to understand requirements and build strategies
- Lead client presentations, reviews, and governance discussions
- Maintain and monitor reporting to clients using various tools and ensure accurate data
- Perform market and financial analyses to support strategy and decision making
- Manage revenue projections and account-level performance visibility
- Prepare close-out reports and value-add calculations
- Coordinate reporting requirements and guide field agents and partners to maximize reporting effectiveness
- Adapt process documents and playbooks to client needs
- Identify and implement process improvements, post-transaction reviews, and client surveys
- Leverage AI-enabled solutions to improve execution, reporting, analytics, and outcomes
- Manage direct reports through coaching and mentoring to maintain a high-performing team
- Lead transaction teams, brokers, field agents, and cross-functional contributors
- Maintain a cohesive, performance-measured team environment
Key requirements- 10+ years of experience in corporate real estate, transaction management, or related field
- State real estate salesperson license
- Experience with high-level, complex transaction management including contract management, compliance, and legal documentation
- Demonstrated project management skills with ability to coordinate tasks and timelines
- Ability to lead a cohesive, performance-driven team
- Strong organizational skills balancing multiple tasks for client satisfaction
