Overview

As a Quant Analytics Associate, you apply advanced analytics to inform decisions that improve client outcomes within US Wealth Management. You'll bridge financial products, markets, and statistics to translate analyses into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders. You'll work on trends, data-driven investigations, and competitive insights to shape strategic decisions. This role combines quantitative rigor with storytelling to drive impact at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze client, advisor, and macro-behavioral trends across wealth management products and solutions
  • Examine financial flow data to inform strategy, form hypotheses, and conduct deep-dive investigations
  • Provide analytical support for regulatory matters with well-documented analyses and stakeholder collaboration
  • Research competitor positioning using data-driven methods to inform strategic discussions
  • Assemble, organize, validate, and analyze data using SQL, Python, and R
  • Apply statistical, causal inference, and machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, tree-based models, matching, time-series anomaly detection)
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders across Solutions and Advice, Finance, Legal, and Data & Analytics
Key requirements
  • 1+ years of analytical/analytics data science or finance experience
  • Bachelor in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Strong SQL skills for data assembly and analysis
  • Experience with Python and/or R for analysis and data preparation
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse business audiences
  • Strong storytelling skills to turn analysis into actionable recommendations
  • Aptitude for learning new theory and technology in a fast-moving environment
