General Manager, Building Automation - Data Centers

Overview

Lead the global Data Center LOB with responsibility for P&L, growth, and customer satisfaction. Report to the Chief Commercial Officer and work on a hybrid basis from Atlanta, driving strategies that leverage product tech, development, and Voice of the Customer. Guide high-profile programs and develop a diverse, inclusive team aligned to Honeywell's mission of advancing automation toward autonomy. You'll shape strategy, optimize operations, and engage senior stakeholders to deliver market-leading solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new product strategies, roadmaps, GTM plans, and improvements across business lines aligned with the data center strategy
  • Drive breakthrough initiatives and new product introductions with structured strategy deployment for commercialization and rapid execution
  • Achieve revenue growth, margin expansion, cost control, and timely market delivery to meet AOP and program commitments
  • Lead strategy execution including cost/price optimization, market segmentation, channel management, RDE investments, lifecycle improvements, and differentiated value propositions
  • Create and evaluate launch business cases using structured methodologies
  • Convert Voice of Customer and differentiating technologies into market-back requirements and solutions
  • Build out business development and global sales capabilities to hit growth targets
  • Develop and execute sourcing and supply chain strategies for NPI and cost/inventory/delivery improvements
  • Coordinate with ISC/Sourcing on supplier negotiations and performance management
  • Manage operating systems to milestones, metrics, risk mitigation, and scope control with active customer engagement
  • Establish executive relationships with key customers and suppliers/partners
Key requirements
  • 8+ years in guiding, strategy deployment, operations, business management, sales, or program management
  • Demonstrated start-up or new business venture experience
  • Bachelor's or MBA preferred (not required)
  • Strong guidance and leadership of high-performing teams
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
  • Strong sales and product marketing acumen in new market spaces
  • Financial acumen and knowledge of financial metrics
  • Analytical tools proficiency (Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, Excel)
