Overview In this role you will lead the Global Practice's pre-construction activities, shaping pricing, planning, and execution strategies. You'll align with EPC and construction teams to drive profitable, safe, and high-quality project outcomes. You will steer commercial negotiations, pursue development plans, and develop high-performance teams across regional offices. Responsibilities- Determine pricing, cost tracking, and definition development for projects, and implement reporting on actual pricing and labor productivity
- Lead commercial negotiations across major and strategic pursuits
- Coordinate between Business Line Managers, EPC-PMs and CDB GP Manager
- Provide leadership to CDB Pre-Construction Execution, Constructors, AZCO, and subcontractors to improve installation rates and execution efficiency
- Guide pursuits team and early project development to optimize staff utilization
- Drive Objectives and Key Results for Global Practice goals across regional offices
- Develop and guide EPC and major project pursuits across regional offices
- Direct business development efforts by identifying viable projects and clients
- Facilitate alignment between regional offices and corporate initiatives
- Establish guidelines and executable plans for conducting business
- Oversee pursuit development plans to advance identified strategies
- Provide senior-level technical expertise and industry insight on projects
- Provide competitive industry knowledge and evaluate project options
- Achieve financial performance targets and present monthly sales/revenue forecasts
Key requirements- Bachelor in Engineering in; 7 years direct program/project management experience (or equivalent)
- Experience in electric utility industry preferred
- Prime contract and subcontractor negotiation experience preferred
- Experience in project cost and EPC pursuit development preferred
- Experience in managing proposals, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination
- Track record of budget, savings, and/or profit margins preferred
- Strong understanding of construction disciplines
- Excellent communication and supervisory skills
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (P6, MS Project or equivalent) preferred
- Expert knowledge of estimating methodologies and tools (e.g., InEight Estimate, HeavyBid, or equivalent) preferred
- Must meet company driving requirements
