Overview In this role you will coordinate domestic, export and import shipments at DHL Global Forwarding in San Francisco, ensuring service commitments align with client objectives. You will manage shipping documentation, advise clients on terms, and handle invoicing, tracking, and data entry across multiple systems. You will provide responsive customer service and maintain accurate customer profiles. The role offers exposure to air and ocean freight, government contracts, ITAR requirements, and opportunities to shape complex logistics processes.

Responsibilities- Coordinate domestic, export and import shipments to meet client and company objectives
- Prepare, issue and submit documents for the shipping process and advise on terms of delivery, payment, insurance and freight services
- Ensure invoices are accurate and processed in line with policy
- Tracking, tracing and document imaging
- Customer service and updating of customer profiles
- Data entry using multiple software systems
Key requirements- US Citizen - Mandatory
- 1-5 years in International Logistics
- Experience in Air Freight and Ocean Freight
- Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency T3 Clearance preferred but must go through application if hired
- Government contracts and ITAR experience
- Proven track record in customer service
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentations)
- Proficient Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Knowledge of Cargo Wise system is a plus
