In this role you will contribute to all phases of transportation projects for public and private clients, shaping road, rail, drainage, and utility relocation solutions. You will join a top transportation team delivering reliable, resilient highway infrastructure across northern California and beyond. You'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, leverage design tools, and support project delivery while advancing your career through mentorship and development programs. Responsibilities
  • Work across all phases of transportation projects for public and private clients
  • Design roadway and highway segments, drainage, storm water management, and utility relocations
  • Prepare contract documents and coordinates with multiple disciplines
  • Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D; familiarity with Microstation/Open Roads
  • Communicate effectively with project manager, coworkers, sub consultants, and agency staff
  • Contribute to meeting project schedules within budgets
  • Compose technical reports and memoranda
  • Handle multiple concurrent projects
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of transportation engineering design experience
  • California PE license preferred
  • Strong knowledge of roadway/highway design, grading, drainage, utility relocation
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D; familiar with MicroStation/Open Roads
  • Effective communication and teamwork across stakeholders
  • Ability to meet project schedules and budgets
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
