Responsibilities- Lead and manage cultural resources projects, including field surveys, testing, data recovery, and monitoring with varied scopes
- Oversee archival research, reporting, permitting, data collection, GIS mapping, and technical documentation
- Author or review technical materials and serve as primary point of contact with clients
- Supervise field, office, and lab personnel
- Navigate state and federal environmental regulations (CEQA, NEPA, NHPA) in project delivery
- Coordinate priorities across field crews, PMs, and other stakeholders
- Support business development and contribute to cost estimates and proposals
- Forecast, track, and report project progress; manage invoicing and scheduling
Key requirements- 6 years of relevant experience in historical/precontact archaeology and cultural resources management or equivalent
- Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork throughout California
- Valid U.S. Driver's license and US citizenship
- Experience leading projects and collaborating with clients and agencies
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of GIS/GPS data and regional cultural resources regulations
