Overview In this role you help biopharma and med tech clients optimize end-to-end planning across supply networks. You lead integrated planning initiatives and work with cross-functional teams to balance regulatory, lifecycle, and external manufacturing constraints. You will apply advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve forecast accuracy and supply chain performance. Responsibilities- Design and implement IBP/S&OP frameworks for life sciences environments
- Lead the full IBP cycle with cross-functional inputs to drive aligned decisions
- Develop demand and supply planning processes considering patient-based drivers, LOE, and CMO/CDMO dynamics
- Translate IBP decisions into short-horizon execution plans, ensuring compliant scheduling and CMO order management
- Create multi-echelon inventory strategies balancing service levels with working capital
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reduce supply risk, and accelerate planning via AI-enabled tools and digital twins
- Define and track life sciences KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy, batch cycle time, on-time delivery)
- Design governance and operating models integrating commercial, medical, regulatory, quality, and operations teams
- Build and maintain relationships across client organizations to align planning priorities and communicate outcomes
- Identify and mitigate life sciences-specific supply risks (capacity, API disruption, regulatory holds, cold chain)
- Provide data-driven insights through advanced reporting and visualization for leadership decision-making
- Support the deployment of generative AI and agent-based modeling for scalable planning solutions
- Travel is required (10-75%)
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years in supply chain initiatives
- Minimum 5 years in Integrated Planning initiatives
- Experience in Biopharma, Med Tech, CDMO/CMO, or Life Sciences sectors
- 2+ years external consulting or 5+ years internal consulting at Manager level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12+ years work experience)
- Bonus: MBA or similar, life sciences planning domain specialization, hands-on planning platforms experience (e.g., OMP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP IBP/S4, o9, Blue Yonder)
- Lean or Six Sigma qualifications
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
