Senior EE - Systems Operations Engineer

You will lead end-to-end electrical engineering programs for quantum hardware, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver PCB and superconducting circuits on aggressive timelines. You'll manage supplier engagements, process development, and budgeting while shaping manufacturing readiness. This role offers visibility across engineering, supply chain, and leadership, with a focus on scalable, high-quality hardware. Your work helps advance Microsoft's mission to bring scalable quantum computing to the world.

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution for electrical engineering initiatives (PCB and/or superconducting ICs)
• Drive PCB supplier and manufacturing engagements, including readiness, design rules, yield, and cost optimization
• Coordinate across qubit design, mechanical, systems, reliability, sourcing, fabrication, and leadership teams to align deliverables
• Develop and improve development processes, documentation, quality frameworks, and validation workflows
• Own program budget, resource planning, and portfolio management including cost modeling and actuals tracking
• Communicate with technical and executive audiences; synthesize input into decision frameworks; mentor junior coordinators and engineers

• Doctorate in Physics, Engineering, or related field with 1+ year of industry/R&D experience OR Master's in Physics, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years OR Bachelor's in Physics, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years OR equivalent experience
