Overview As Engineer Level II, you support subsea and offshore projects under guidance from senior engineers, contributing specialist engineering skills and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. You translate client needs into practical design parameters and implement effective solutions. You develop procedures for onshore and offshore work and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vessel teams to ensure equipment is fit for purpose and compliant. You represent the company technically in meetings and correspondence.
Responsibilities- Assist in subsea and offshore engineering activities and tendering tasks
- Identify design parameters, issues, and implement solutions within project constraints
- Develop project-specific procedures for onshore/offshore execution
- Select and verify equipment suitability and certification for offshore use
- Coordinate with vessel departments and third party contractors for fit-for-purpose equipment
- Represent the company in technical meetings with clients and subcontractors
Key requirements- Engineering degree or demonstrable equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant SURF (Subsea Umbilical Riser Flowline) experience in marine/oil&gas
- Ability to work within time and budget constraints
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and design guidelines
