Overview In this hybrid Senior Software Engineer role, you will lead Platform Engineering in the US, blending backend development with cloud infrastructure and platform strategy. You'll partner with engineering teams to improve delivery, tooling, and developer experience while guiding AI-enabled development and cloud modernization. The role offers broad impact across the organization and a hands-on focus on scalable backend and cloud systems. You will shape how teams build, deploy, and scale software, with a strong emphasis on developer productivity and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities- Partner with engineering teams to improve platform adoption and developer experience
- Design, build, and enhance backend platform services and tooling
- Drive AI adoption across the software development lifecycle
- Improve cloud infrastructure, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Platform strategy, architectural guidance, and technical leadership
Key requirements- Strong professional experience building backend applications with Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms and infrastructure
- Background in platform engineering, developer productivity, or developer experience initiatives
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, and software delivery best practices
- Knowledge of modern cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and scalable distributed systems
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and operational excellence
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive adoption of new technologies across engineering teams
