Overview

In this role you lead strategic programs and hands-on projects spanning onboarding, NPI, and production process improvements. You'll partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Commercial, and Customer teams to ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget delivery aligned with company goals. You will design and refine PMO processes while actively directing individual initiatives when priority demands. Your work enables efficient technology transfer, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement across the organization. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role in a fast-paced additive manufacturing environment with meaningful impact

Responsibilities
  • Lead lifecycle management of projects and programs, including planning, execution, cross-functional coordination, risk mitigation, budget control, and stakeholder communications
  • Design and standardize PMO processes, governance, and tools to ensure consistent project execution across units
  • Act as hands-on PM for lower-to-moderate complexity initiatives while overseeing broader programs
  • Oversee NPI, technology transfer, manufacturing process validation, equipment implementation, supplier integration, and operational improvement projects
  • Develop and maintain project documentation (charters, schedules, risk registers, decision logs, closeout reports)
  • Establish governance with regular meetings, milestone reviews, executive updates, and escalation processes
  • Coordinate with customers and translate requirements into executable project plans, including regulatory and quality considerations
  • Provide technical leadership for transfer, validation, and continuous improvement of production processes
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and external suppliers to implement manufacturing solutions and new equipment
  • Plan and document V&V activities and supporting technical reports for regulatory readiness
  • Ensure compliance with QMS, Design Controls, Change Control, and Product Realization throughout project lifecycles
  • Lead project closeout, lessons learned, and successful transitions to Operations or Sustaining Engineering
  • Support regulatory submissions, customer qualifications, and product certifications as applicable
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Engineering or related technical discipline; relevant experience considered
  • PMI/PM certification preferred (PMP, CAPM) or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years' experience in manufacturing operations within a regulated environment (FDA QSR, ISO 13485/9001 or similar)
  • Experience in additive manufacturing in a production setting
  • Strong technical foundation in manufacturing engineering, process development, analytics, and problem solving
  • Proficiency with project tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Microsoft 365)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
